One would wonder why Mumbai didnt go out and vote inspite of the chilling attack on the city not long ago. The first chance the city had to voice its opinion, the city has wasted the opportunity and things would carry on as they have been for the last so many years.Who is to blame?Netas? I dont think so. People want politicians to solve their problems but dont want to vote for them. Now there is a certain degree of responsibility that people have got to show to be 'deserving' to be treated in the way they want.In the democracy you got to voice your opinion.If you dont want to do that,you lose a very important right to get things done the way you want.In principle political parties need our mandate to carry out policies.If we dont give them any clear direction at all,we can surely expect them to do what they wish.
I am really at a loss to describe this but lets hope Delhi and the rest of the country doesnt follow Mumbai this time and choose to give a mandate to run the country. be it the first,second,third or any front but please vote!!!

And No this is not an April Fools Joke. Sanjay Dutt captured the minister on tape threatening him not to contest election for Samajwadi Party from Lucknow. If Dutt didn't do this,then he was more likely to lose his case for contesting the election. The exact did happen and Dutt was not allowed according to the law of the land as he his convicted for more than 2 years. Law minister could be instrumental in opposing Dutt through his influence as a minister in making use of CBI in opposing Dutt's plea in Supreme Court. Younger people may not be as acquainted with the Law Minister of India as they are with Sanjay "Munna Bhai" Dutt.
